Multistate Professional Responsibility Examination

 Before being licensed to practice law in Louisiana, an applicant must submit evidence to the Board that he/she has, within two calendar years of the time he/she passes the Louisiana Bar Examination, achieved a scaled score of 80 or better on the Multistate Professional Responsibility Examination administered by the designee of the National Conference of Bar Examiners.

The MPRE is a fifty-question, two-hour, multiple choice test given in March, August, and November of each year at various locations across the country.

*This test date is a Saturday morning. If your religious beliefs preclude you from taking the exam on a Saturday contact the National Conference of Bar Examiners.
